Wall Heaters

Yes. Some heaters have built in thermostats, but they can be removed or inactivated. Optional, wall-mounted or remote thermostats can be located so that they are more convenient to adjust than the built in thermostat. Located across the room from the heater, they can also insure that the heater runs long enough to heat the whole room. This is especially true in an odd or irregularly shaped room where air does not flow readily from one section to another. Consult the heater’s Installation Guide for additional thermostat instructions. If you are unfamiliar with the methods of installing electrical wiring, secure the services of a qualified electrician.
